This project is an artist book and identity system inspired by Allan Kaprow and his Happenings. The design reflects his experimental, participatory approach to art, translating ideas of process, impermanence, and everyday action into a cohesive visual language. The book explores his work—particularly Household—alongside the development of exhibition branding for San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, resulting in a layered system that moves between documentation and experience. The final outcome embraces a tactile, immersive aesthetic that mirrors Kaprow’s blurring of art and life.
Hardcover book, 62 pages.

This project is an album cover design for Laundry Day’s “Greatest Hits.” The visual language blends NYC metro signage with hand-drawn illustration, paired with custom typography developed to echo the band’s raw, playful energy. The type system becomes a central element—distorted, expressive, and rhythmic—working alongside bold color and layered imagery to create a dynamic, city-driven composition. The result captures the spirit of their sound while inviting listeners into a world that feels both chaotic and intentional.

This project is a risograph zine inspired by Laundry Day. It blends original photography from Los Angeles with the band’s lyrics, translating personal moments from my college experience into a visual narrative. Structured around the hero’s journey, the zine moves through themes of love, ambition, uncertainty, and change. Layered imagery, experimental typography, and the tactile quality of risograph printing create a raw, expressive composition that mirrors the emotional highs and lows of growing up. The result is a coming-of-age piece that merges image and sound into a single, immersive experience.

(Concept Work)
This project is a brand identity system for Black Cinema Lab, a conceptual institution dedicated to celebrating, preserving, and advancing Black filmmaking. The design draws from the visual language of cinema—framing, sequencing, and contrast—while balancing archival depth with contemporary expression. A minimal yet striking color system of black and high-saturation blue reflects both legacy and innovation, creating a bold and recognizable presence across applications. Typography pairs classic and modern forms to honor the past while embracing the future.
The identity extends across sub-brands, environments, and physical touchpoints, positioning Black Cinema Lab as more than an archive—it is a living, evolving space for storytelling, education, and cultural impact.
